This was a fun one night event to raise money for the Forsyth Nature Center. There was a DJ, nibbles, fun and of course peanuts!!
Junior League of Kingston members sell tickets to Applebee’s for a breakfast of pancakes, bacon, juice and coffee or tea. Members serve the patrons at this local restaurant in an effort to fund new member projects.
Over the years Junior Leagues throughout the country have published regional cookbooks as a means to raise funds to support their community service projects. In 2010 The Junior League of Kingston published its own book, Holly Berry Tidings & Traditions, commemorating the first decade of its Holly Berry Trail. It not only includes unique holiday entertaining ideas and tips, but many cherished recipes straight from our own members’ kitchens.
